Steamed snap peas8/8/2023 I think steaming vegetables with a steamer set is the best way. After the pan heats up, add the peas to the pan and cover it with a top for less than 1 minute to trap steam. Set the heat to medium and wait for the pan to warm up. This is my favorite way to steam vegetables. Add 2 teaspoons (9.9 ml) of oil and 2 teaspoons (9.9 ml) of water to a pan large enough to cook your peas. ![]() It is very convenient and the easiest to use, in my opinion. This Cuisinart steamer set is my first choice.
